Beginning September 22, the Town of Alpine will install a temporary roundabout at the intersection of US-89 and Greys River Road as part of its Safe Streets and Roads for All Transportation Safety Action Plan.
The temporary roundabout is a demonstration project designed to help the Town evaluate a potential safety improvement before considering any long-term changes. The installation will allow the Town, project team, and community members to experience how the intersection functions with a roundabout and provide feedback about its effectiveness.
The temporary roundabout will remain in place through October 14, and the road will return to regular conditions on October 15.

The Town of Alpine is developing a Transportation Safety Action Plan through the Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) program.
The project is intended to identify transportation safety needs and potential improvements throughout Alpine while incorporating data, field observations, and community input.
As part of this effort, the Town is conducting a temporary roundabout demonstration at US-89 and Greys River Road.
