Community involvement is an essential part of the Transportation Safety Action Plan. Residents, businesses, and visitors are encouraged to participate by attending public meetings, completing surveys, and providing feedback throughout the planning process.

Project displays, concept illustrations, and staff will be available to answer questions and gather community input.
The Town of Alpine is committed to creating safer streets for everyone who lives, works, and visits our community. Through the Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) Program, the Town is developing a Transportation Safety Action Plan to identify practical, community-driven strategies that improve safety, mobility, connectivity, and accessibility throughout town.
Funded by the U.S. Department of Transportation's Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) Grant Program, this project will:
- Evaluate existing transportation conditions
- Identify transportation safety concerns
- Gather community input
- Develop a Transportation Safety Action Plan
- Evaluate temporary demonstration projects to better understand potential safety improvements before considering long-term solutions
