Traffic School Eligibility and Completion Process

Traffic School Application and Agreement

Prior to Attending Traffic School

Email the completed Traffic School Application and Agreement Form to the Town of Alpine at admin [at] alpinewy.gov (admin[at]alpinewy[dot]gov). Your application will be reviewed, and you will be notified whether you are eligible to participate in the traffic school program.

Important: Approval to attend traffic school is solely at the discretion of the Town of Alpine Prosecuting Attorney. Submission of an application does not guarantee approval, and your request may be denied.

If Your Application is Approved

1. Complete an approved traffic school course.
2. Obtain a Certificate of Completion.
3. There is a $100.00 administrative fee. Additionally, at the discretion of the Prosecuting Attorney, you may also be required to pay the bond amount associated with your citation.
4. Mail or deliver your Certificate of Completion and the $100.00 administrative fee, along with any bond amount required by the Prosecuting Attorney, to:

These items must be received or postmarked within thirty (30) days of the date you are notified of your eligibility to attend traffic school.

Upon receipt of the required documentation and fees, and upon successful completion of all program requirements, your citation will be dismissed.

If Your Application is Declined

You must either:

• Pay the full bond amount (fine) by calling the Court with a credit card or by mailing a cashier's check or money order to:

• Appear and contest the citation on the court date indicated on your ticket.

Other traffic classes are available and the Alpine Municipal Court has no preference as to which one is taken.
