2026 Municipal Election – Open Positions
This year’s municipal election will include the following open positions:
- Mayor (1 seat)
- Town Councilmember (2 seats)
Residents interested in serving the community are encouraged to consider running for office.
🗓 Filing Information
- Filing Period: May 14 – May 29, 2026
- Filing Location: Town Clerk’s Office
- Filing Fee: $25
All applications must be submitted within the filing period.
👤 Candidate Requirements
Candidates must:
- Be a registered voter
- Have resided in the Town of Alpine for at least one (1) year prior to the election
Candidates should also:
- Ensure no employment or office conflicts exist
- Review Wyoming Secretary of State campaign finance guidelines for disclosure requirements

Candidates must complete and submit the official Application for Nomination.
This form is used for both Mayor and Town Council positions. Be sure to indicate the office you are seeking on the application.
